It automatically collects flight, car, restaurant and hotel-booking confirmations from Gmail under a reservations tab for each trip, allowing you to easily track your progress and stay on top of any updates.

Currently, the service is only available on Android and iOS devices, but it’s expected that Trips will be available on desktops as well. It will track flight prices and show hotels that have been previously viewed in case you still need to book accommodations.

Rentals

As the first step in reshaping travelers search habits, Google is integrating short-term rental listings into its travel metasearch engine. This means that you can now showcase your accommodation to the 4.3 billion users worldwide who use Google’sGoogle’s travel app.

When a user searches for vacation rentals, they will see a clickable map of accommodations in their area. The map will show accommodation options with images, price per night, capacity, and the number of rooms.

This new feature has the potential to significantly boost your visibility and bookings. It also has the potential to divert a large proportion of guests away from major OTAs and toward your website.

Until now, individual vacation rental owners and small property management companies. Could not list their properties in Google’s travel meta-search tool. However, as of May 2021, these companies can now list their vacation rentals. In the general accommodations search results on Google Travel.
